Happy New Year everyone!!
wow. the new year 2007 is here. and we have sent 2006 away.
have you done the checklist on what you have been through in 2006? the checklist of the ups and downs. checklist of the blessings that you have received from Him?
as for me. i guess my checklist is a bit lopsided. with so so much blessings that i think He has give me too much. but i don't mind more. heh.
thank you lord for...
1. bringing me closer to you
2. finding me a close group of friends in business fcg (all in my cg)
3. getting me into the big family of CSS in NUS (everyone in CSS)
4. the love and support from my family - Daddy, Mummy, Daniel
5. my buddies - Claudia, June, Chick, Ray, Cindy, Adeline (muacks)
6. showing me that i can do what God wanted me to do
7. my handphone and wallet to be found!
8. my sucky modules to make me realise i cannot do well in exam papers
9. giving me the peace whenever i go to Novena on Saturday
10. the saturday novena goers company and friendship - Marc, Magic, Moses, Kelvin, Lek and those whom i have left out
11. the hurts that i been through
12. the many blessings that are to come..... =)
wheee... so ppl.. see the list never end. i can so smell the FANTASTIC year ahead. 2007. the year that i will be graduating. the year that i am stepping down from my duties in CSS. the year that i turn 23! dope. damn. guess i am just not that ready yet for the many changes that are coming. heh.
simply i think as you grow wiser (that is older), you just take stepping into a new year just like it is just another day passing. that was how i felt. so much so that i didn't even know that it was 2007 when we were at St Peters and Pauls supporting Exodus - apparently the name for the band name for MM. haha. it was a calm new year eve. went for evening mass at Nativity. Met Gerg for dinner. Way too early to support the MM. Headed to Macs. Talked about i don't know what. Denise came. Laughed and laughed. Headed to SPP. and there. i fell on my knees as the Holy Sacrament was revealed.Benediction.
As the song played at the background with praises to God. i fell on my knees with my praises to God. Lifting up all my worries and burdens to Him. Knowing that he is the only one who will not forsake me. As the body of christ passed me by. an overwhelming feeling power whatever you may call it came over me! i swear. it was so overwhelming that i started to tear. tears of joy and hope for the coming year. it was a wonderful experience as He came by my side. =) Isaiah 43 said: "... you are precious.. Be not afraid"
and therefafter Benediction was the performance by MM. Annette rox with her talent. great performance my friends in MM!!! =) totally ROX! =) and 12mn came. HAPPY NEW YEAR and the next thing i know, everyone started hugging each other to wish each other HAPPY NEW YEAR. the smile on everyone's face. Precious. Priceless. the hugs and well wishes. Priceless. Precious. i am glad we were there in His house to step into 2007.
the first thing i did in 2007 was to go to Pitstop Cafe a place like Minds Cafe with board games. not bad a place. played games till bout 3am and daddy came and fetch me shirley and gerg home. Daddy is the best. Muacks!
so so.. you see... that was my new year eve stepping into a new year. from 2006 to 2007. i am glad 2007 is finally here. oh oh. and i made a new year resolution. it is to jog everyday from home to church and church to home. heh. i will do it. i must do it. cos i know you guys who are reading this is laughing your head off. heh. *bleah* i shall be in my own state of denial that i am gaining support. haha..
ooo... going to have a mahjong session at my place later with my buddies. =) we are so going to have fun. Fun-tastic!! wheeeee.........
