back to the club

oh dear!

I am officially a GLEEK.

I am hooked onto "Glee" - the series that swept the town months ago and yes, now I am swept away too.
I can't wait to be home just to watch the episodes and lose myself in this teen high school musical kinda series. Be a couch potato. You know that kinda life.

Maybe this is all because I want to be like them somehow, back in school, have a club and feel belonged somewhere. Glee Club - where people (usually misfits as viewed by fellow classmates) categorise them. But this club is also where friendships grow and teamwork builds. I miss this kinda feeling.
In the midst of a working world, sometimes you can never find a place that you belong. Every action is scrutinised and you don't know where you stand or belong often enough in this fast paced world.

Thinking back we (the girls) used to have a club called - The Unicorn Club (how not original as this was taken off from the then famous storybooks - The Babysitters Club where we girls were crazy over).

Those days of 14 where we had no troubles,. No guy troubles, no job/career troubles, no money troubles, just perhaps, the same troubles of "Oh I am too fat". hah.

Could I ever ask for just one day to return back to days when I was only 14?

oh boy, I could only start dreaming of those days when I was 14....
